First, log into the DBASE machine using SSH. This is the *only* machine that can access the Oracle server.
Once logged in, type:
~oracle/bin/create_oracle_user.php
Within a few minutes you should receive an email with your username, a temporary password, and instructions on how to access the Oracle system as your newly created user.
Please remember to run this script only once. If you run it a second time it will not change the settings for the already created user, and will not create a new user for you.
If you have any other problems, mail cs415@cs.jhu.edu.
