The Valkyries are a 100% female super-heroine team that is lead by the Legendary Jenny Sparks. The team roster includes the Incredible Crusader, her companion Scrapper, and until recently Anomaly. Reserve Members include: Prince ss Oro Oro, Princess Aleria, The Amazing Arachnia, Kind Wisp, and Valiant Protégé, Shadow or "unofficial" members include The Mysterious Gimmick, and an Unknown Member (Silhouette).

The Valkyries differ from most hero teams, as they have the 100% support of SimComm and Dynamax. Oddly enough, Jenny Sparks has recently accepted the role of the Head of Security for Dynamo City, and thus has a large amount of sway in the local politic s and international affairs.

The Valkyries have two main centers: The Aviary, a huge Greco-Roman Arcology on the First Level, and the Clubhouse, a more sedate five story building that was first created primarily for the use of Crusader and Scrapper.

The Aviary holds the Chronal Transmitter, a powerful device that acts to trap any Chronal Anomalies within the area, and also to open a gate to the Chronal Prison that exists just outside of the local timestream. The Aviary is actually only inhabited b y Jenny Sparks and her teammates on the upper floors. The rest of the floors are office buildings, who primarily act to distance the rest of society from the often-dangerous activities that occur on the floors above them.

The Clubhouse is the actual headquarters of the Valkyries, and it houses their individual rooms. It is a luxury-based building, but has its own lab and communication network. The network is maintained through the use of the AI Malice, and her caretaker , Wisp.

The Personalities of the Valkyries:

AKA Electric Girl, The Electric Woman

Title: Leader of the Valkyries and Head of Security for Dynamo City

Description: Jenny is about 5 feet 5 inches tall with long blonde hair in a ponytail and blue eyes. She doesn’t usually wear a costume, but has a number of outfits. Jenny is fond of white suits and various undershirts with anarchist or archaic symbols.

Known Powers: Jenny is a living battery of electrical energy. She can channel, absorb and throw out gouts of electricity. She is invulnerable to all forms of electric attack. Jenny has been seen to affect people’s minds by manipulating their neu rons and she can easily surge and dampen most electronic equipment. Jenny can also turn herself into electric current and move across wires and other electrical objects. She can inhabit computers and other advanced pieces of equipment, but has little know ledge regarding such items. Jenny has a strong resistance against poisons, especially alcohol. She is immune to the effects of aging, being permanently stranded in her mid-20’s, and is immune to most diseases.

Known Weaknesses: Jenny has a hair-trigger temper and is quick to vent aggression out on others. She is also a bit of a bully and is quite stubborn. Jenny also has a severe dependence upon alcohol and cigarettes, being addicted to both for more than four centuries. Generally, Jenny is cranky and often malevolent. Compared to her companions, Jenny is the least resistant to damage and is the least in shape.

Known Background: First off, Jenny is a little over 400 years old, being born in the early 20^th Century. She was an Irishwoman raised in England, a life that was full of hardships and humiliations. Shortly after her powers first manif ested, Jenny was brought into the RAF Special Corps in order to prepare for a possible sequel to the First World War. Jenny fought through the Second World War, in which she played a major part, and was widely publicized. Jenny assumed command of the fina l metahuman push that acted to save the British Isles, and turned the tide of the war. After World War II, Jenny returned to a fairly normal life, and married Darian Cover, AKA Electric Boy, her fellow teammate. She kept her family name. Jenny fought in a number of small skirmishes against various governments, but nothing to draw the public’s eye to her. Jenny and Darian lived happily until the Third World War, and the missile that destroyed Greenland. Darian tried to stop the missile, and vanished along with Greenland. Jenny was overcome, and spent the following century or so in chronic depression. Someone (Gimmick) found her and woke her up. After that, Jenny grabbed the reins of control, and has been "kicking the ass of the world on a daily basis, hopi ng that one day, this pack of bloody fools will wake up."

Other Important Information: Jenny has taken in Oro-Oro as a ward. Jenny has had a very diverse life. She is one of the founders of Section 10, gone on more than one dimensional/time trip, blown up a Grell planet, destabilized a star, and threat ened/assaulted various higher entities and ambassadors. She was named Irishwoman of the Year, Woman of the Year, and has a full line of clothing and accessories named after her. On a lighter note, there is a small syndicated net-cartoon called "Jenny Spar kles" that parodies her adventures and the lives of the Valkyries.

Updates: Arachnia has been reinstated by the Galactic Commonwealth a few times. Her current assignment is to guard the Universe and GC from Jenny Sparks, a difficult task indeed.

Real Name: Magus the All-Powerful, The Magus

Description: Magus is a handsome young man, appearing about his early 20’s. He wears usually loose fitting clothing, colorful and usually with magical or mystical designs and patterns. He has flowing gray-black hair and has sparkling blue eyes.< /P>

Known Powers: The Magus is an incarnation of Magus the All-Powerful, a fifth dimensional being. In his home dimension, Magus is a god in all aspects and matters. On Earth, Magus’ powers are limited, and larger spells tend to harm him physically, since he is made out of eldritch particles. He can cast a number of small spells, but the most common are binding, flight, and energy blasts.

Known Weaknesses: The Magus has a great deal of unfamiliarity with humanity, and tends to be easy to convince. The Magus also, for better or worse, has had a number of different incarnations. He does not remember each incarnation perfectly, and has a bad memory to begin with.

Other Important Information: The Magus has a dimensional door in the Clubhouse, the Aviary, Nuriko’s Lab, and in the Big Johnson. He is "father" to Kesla and was summoned by Jenny Sparks.

KISS is an abbreviation for the Kurokawa Industries Security Services. This group is funded totally by the immense private funds of Kurokawa Industries. It has its primary contract with the city of Tokyo, but has secondary contr acts with Dynamo City and most of Japan. KISS is run by the Enigmatic Eclipse, and organized by the Infamous "H" Haruko Kurokawa.

KISS Tower is the headquarters of the KISS Megacorporation, and is centrally located in Downtown Tokyo. It is a massive structure, holding a number of labs, personal stations, and equipment. "H" Kurokawa has her offices here, and is the site of most of the team’s meetings.

KISS Personalities:

Real Name: Not publicly known

Description: Eclipse is a shapely woman wearing a skintight suit of chrome-colored armor. The armor covers her entire body, but includes a ridge-like helmet and armbands. She is the leader of the KISS team and is personal bodyguard to H Kurokawa.

Known Powers: Eclipse can turn invisible, fly at high speeds, resist a grievous amount of damage, eject shots of bio-energy, and has incredible (but not quite Crusader-class) strength. She also has incredible sex appeal and is not above using it in every conceivable matter (just ask Gimmick).

Known Weaknesses: Eclipse is incredibly lackadaisical. She takes everything in stride. Also, she is dating Gimmick, which in itself may be a weakness, if not an obsession. Eclipse is also obsessive with shopping and shares her employer’s obsessi on with sexual activities.

Real Name: Keiko Minabe

Description: Turbo has long black hair and brown eyes. She is an attractive woman, and wears a skintight outfit, either pink or light blue. Her outfits include a matching visor and set of very, very reinforced running shoes.

Known Powers: Turbo has extreme super-speed, with a top speed around Mach 10. She can create whirlwinds, run across water and air, and can, with some difficulty, make herself insubstantial. Turbo is the main means of transport between KISS and t he Valkyries.

Known Weaknesses: Turbo has very little damage resistance, and takes some time to slow down if she is running at top speed.

Personality: Unlike other Speedsters, Turbo has a very level head and a good scientific mind. However, she is a bit stubborn, and holds grudges against some people.

Other Information: Turbo is not fond of Gimmick, and has had a romantic relationship with Eclipse in the past.

AKA Dr. Nuriko Takahashi

Description: Crimson is a beautiful Japanese woman, with short, black hair and brown eyes. She has a pair of brown angel wings growing out of her back. Nuriko prefers not to wear superish clothing, but if going into battle, she will wear a black single-piece outfit and a pair of gloves and boots.

Known Powers: Nuriko is a gadgeteer specializing in Dimensional Physics. Also, she can produce a number of Crimson Energy Constructs. They usually appear in the form of barriers or blades. Also, Nuriko can fly, is immortal, needs no sleep or foo d, and has a voice that carries some kind of suggestive frequency that makes her very convincing (even if her words aren’t).

Known Weaknesses: Nuriko has no real regard for her personal safety. Her experiments are dangerous and tend to backfire. However, she does make some fascinating discoveries… once in a while. She is also very stubborn and is obsessed with researc h. Nuriko also has another personality Crimson Angel that is currently submerged. In addition, Nuriko has a substantial ego, one that is a bit easy to bruise.

Other Information: Nuriko was presumed dead at one point, but recently released her dual identity to the world.

Description: Tiny is a metallic, mechanical looking figure, about 7 feet tall. He has a pair of antenna like ears that tend to move depending upon his mood. Tiny tends not to wear clothes, but will wear a KISS uniform if it is a formal occasion.

Known Powers: Tiny comes from a micro-universe. He can thus shrink and enlarge himself dramatically. Tiny is also hard to hurt and has incredible strength.

Known Weaknesses: Tiny can’t talk. He also has the odious job of keeping Nuriko out of trouble.

Personality: Tiny is very levelheaded and calm. He acts as a foil to Nuriko and is rather bright. He seems a bit trusting at times, but not enough to let Nuriko or Eclipse trick him into something.

Description: Kesla is an amazon of a woman, standing about 6 feet tall and is muscular. She is attractive, with black-red hair and sparkling blue eyes. She wears a suit of black-red dragon scale armor with spikes.

Known Powers: Kesla can fly, has extreme strength and damage resistance, and also can project flame from her body. She also has a device that will let move between dimensions.

Known Weaknesses: Kesla has a very direct way of thinking. She is also very fond of gold and riches. Kesla also has strange habits, being raised by Red Dragons.

Other Information: Kesla is a bit put off about her dad, but is getting used to him. She wants Gimmick.
